Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On my wards in Fulham, I actively implement targeted stop and search initiatives that focus on intelligence led policing and community concerns. By using crime pattern analysis, local intelligence and partnership work with residents and businesses, I ensure that stop and search activity is fair, proportionate and transparent. These operations not only provide a visible deterrent to offenders but also reassure the public that proactive steps are being taken to address issues such as drugs, weapons and anti-social behaviour. As a result, these initiatives have led to the following results over two days, Friday 5th September and Saturday 6th September:

TOTAL:
17 x Stop & Searches out of which 9 were positive where cannabis was found.
9 x Community Resolutions issued – (Formal Warning)
2 x Arrests were made; 1 x Recall to Prison, 1 x Possession of Class A.
