Bogus Workmen - Information Appeal |
||
Dear Resident,
Neighbourhood Alert: Bogus Workmen & Rogue Traders We are issuing this alert as a result of an ongoing issue in the local area over the last three months regarding bogus workmen and rogue traders.
Residents have reported a number of unsolicited calls to their homes from individuals offering services such as gardening, roofing, or driveway cleaning. On several occasions, no work has been carried out despite money being handed over. There have also been concerns that personal items have gone missing, and some residents have felt pressured to withdraw cash to pay for the work.
We are keen for the community to be aware of these individuals and to take steps to protect themselves and their neighbours.
