Silhill WMnow Update |
||
Good morning everyone, I hope you have all been keeping safe and enjoying the last sunshine of the summer since my last message. It has been a busy week in Solihull with some large events taking place and plenty of regular demand with the return of the school term to keep us busy.
Crime Update: There has been a theft of motor vehicle where a blue BMW 3 Series Estate has been stolen by unknown means without keys from Henley Crescent on the 28th of August. Stolen Vehicle later seen in convoy with an unknown Black Mercedes going towards Birmingham. There has been a theft from motor vehicle on Keresley Close where unknown males have gained entry to a Nissan Navara and stolen approximately £800 worth of tools from the boot. A theft of motor vehicle occurred on the 3rd of September on Heaton Road where a white BMW X7 was stolen overnight without keys. Offenders have gained entry by unknown means before fleeing the area.
Good news: The team have been out this past week making arrests for criminal damage and attempted burglary. Two suspects in custody with one being charged and the other bailed for further enquires. Putting offenders in a cell and away from victims is always the highlight of a week for us. The team have been out on patrol this past week and have secured a large quantity of Class A Drugs which had been secreted near to Solihull Hospital. Thanks to proactive patrols and some professional curiosity we have managed to cause some significant disruption to criminals looking to turn crime into profit. Officers from the team have been assisting with policing the Solihull Pride Parade over the weekend. Large events like these bring people from far and wide into Solihull so getting to work alongside other teams to make sure they are safe and secure for all who attend is an important part of our duties and one we welcome.
I hope everyone has a good week, and we will be in touch again soon. | ||
