Vehicle Tax Renewal Scam

Please be aware of a scam email

There is currently a scam email making the rounds claiming that the recipients are due to renew their vehicle tax, claiming to be sent from the “Vehicle Licensing Agency”- This is a SCAM.

The email will claim if you do not renew your tax via the link you will face financial penalties, removal of your vehicle and legal proceedings. This is said to scare the recipients into clicking the link within the email.

It is recommended that people tax their vehicles via the GOV.uk website, if you receive the email stated above you can also check your vehicle tax status on the GOV.uk website to double check and relieve any worries you may have.
