Broseley Buzzes with Community Spirit at Artisan Market |
||
This morning, Broseley’s community came alive in the town’s beloved Artisan Market. This event is held monthly at Victoria Hall on the High Street. The market, now a cornerstone of local life, was brimming with energy as residents, councillors, and traders gathered to celebrate the town’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit. As a PCSO, I love spending time engaging with locals, listening to their thoughts and sharing updates from our Safer Neighbourhood Team. This engagement is a welcome reminder of the strong ties between Broseley’s residents and the local policing team, who continue to prioritise community safety and connection. Amongst the many highlights of the morning, was a lively chat with town councillors including Cllr. Andy Taylor and Cllr. Roy Childs, both of whom have been instrumental in supporting the market’s growth. Their enthusiasm for Broseley’s local initiatives was matched by the buzz around one of the market’s rising stars: Banjo Bros Baking. This dynamic duo of young entrepreneurs drew crowds with their mouthwatering creations and infectious passion for baking. Their stall is a sweet testament to the market’s mission - nurturing local talent and bringing people together over shared passions and delicious treats. The sense of pride in Broseley’s community is unmistakable. With initiatives like the Artisan Market continuing to flourish, and local figures being actively involved, Broseley proves once again that small towns can make a big impact. Next market date – Saturday 6th, 9:30am–12:30pm at Victoria Hall. Come for the crafts, stay for the conversation. Your Safer Neighbourhood team will be in attendance for a catch up. | ||
