Update on unlicensed music event overnight - Newbury

Today (6/9), officers have arrested two men, one aged 18 and the other 48, both from Newbury, on suspicion of intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance following an unlicensed music event in the Newbury area overnight. 

We understand how disruptive this incident has been for the local community, and we want to reassure residents that we are taking this seriously. 

Our response overnight was aimed at bringing the situation under control swiftly and safely.
