Japan Week

The opening ceremony of Japan Week brought colour and celebration to First Street in the city centre today. Crowds gathered to enjoy cultural performances, traditional displays, and community activities.

The event marks the start of a week long programme of cultural exchanges, exhibitions and performances highlighting Japanese heritage and connections with Manchester.
