This week I have done some voluntary external training in relation to Women’s Aid and the great work they do with Domestic Violence/Abuse. Unfortunately this is something I have seen a lot of in my career. As much as I would like it never to exist I’m sure I will come across it again. #StopDomesticViolence I am lucky that West Mercia Police provide lots and quality training around Domestic Violence/Abuse and it places the officers in a confident position to help and support our community. Please come and have a chat to me or a member of the team if you see us, we can talk in private if you would like and I can give you help or advice around the great work Women’s Aid does. I can offer referrals or pass details on to you for you to contact yourself, if you need. Other than this I have been patrolling our community speaking to people I meet. I have also been helping other teams with some patrols as well. I have also worked with community housing to address tenancy compliance and occupancy issues, always be open with community housing as they can help. Not mentioning all the behind the scenes crime investigations.
Whilst on patrol I have come across a vehicle with no Insurance and no Tax. These vehicles are sometime used for criminality above the road traffic offences. It is always good to get these vehicles off the road. #KeepTheRoadsSafe #DriveLegal
Today is the National Cheese Pizza Day… Brilliant! so if you weren’t sure what to have for dinner, the decision is made! It is also International Day of Charity, this isn’t always about donating money. Think about a small way you can help someone, it may make their day. Maybe donating time by visiting a person who lives on their own or helping someone with a task they will struggle to do themselves. The team will be doing some Bike marking on 20/09/2025 at Brintons Park, starting at 2pm. If you cant make this, but want your bikes marked, please message and we can see what we can do.
Have a great weekend and stay safe. Hopefully it doesn’t rain too much. I will see you all Tuesday 9th September 2025. | ||
