Appeal for information following suspicious incidents

We are urging people to be vigilant after receiving reports of a man acting suspiciously in fast-food restaurants in Tamworth. The man, who is described as white, bald and in his 70s, reportedly behaves inappropriately and approaches young women in and around McDonalds restaurants.

Most recently, we received reports about this man yesterday (Thursday 4 September) at McDonalds in Two Gates following another report on Thursday 28 August in Wilnecote. 

The man asked a young woman to get in his car, which she refused and reported to us.

We have identified the individual, who will shortly be made subject of a community protection notice.

We are urging anyone who has had an encounter with this individual to come forward and report it to us.
