Crimes identified for NHW awareness in August: 

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Three offences have involved windows of vehicles being smashed and items taken from the vehicle. Two offences involving vehicle parts being stolen (Steering wheel, Satnav and number plates).

Offences have occurred in Old Deer Park car park, Lower Richmond Road and Kew Foot Road.

Reminder to ensure vehicles are secure and no possessions left on display.

Burglary

Two incidents of burglary occurred in July, one of which was a Business Burglary. This incident involved a person entering the staff area and stealing a laptop. There was one residential burglary in August, this occurred while the home owners were away on holiday.

There was one attempted burglary of a home in North Richmond in August in which the front door was kicked in, in an attempt to gain entry but the suspect shortly fled the scene.

Incidents occurred on Ennerdale Road, Clifford Avenue and Sovereign Gate.
