Female arrested for Public order offences

Yesterday afternoon, Sergeant Lever and PC Watling of the Oswestry Town Centre Team were on foot patrol in the town centre when they attended Sainsburys due to a report of a female causing a disturbance.

The officers spoke with staff and the female who refused to leave and was abusive to staff, the officers and other members of the public. Following her failure to listen to any warnings she was arrested for public order offences. Abusive or threatening behaviour won't be tolerated in our town and we will take similar action against those who engage in it.
