Appeal for information following high value theft incident in West Dorset |
||
Officers investigating an incident of theft in West Dorset are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report that sometime during the early hours of Wednesday 3 September 2025 a Takeuchi TB016 mini digger, a green Yamaha Kodiak quad bike, a plant trailer and a blue Ifor Williams HB511 horse trailer were stolen from a farm in Thornford Road in Yetminster.
Police Constable Lauren Middleton, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said: “Following initial enquiries, we believe that two vehicles reportedly driving away from the scene in an erratic manner in the direction of Somerset may have been involved in this incident, and so we would ask any witnesses or anyone with relevant information to please get in touch with us.
“I would also ask any motorists with dashcam who were driving in the area at the time of the incident to please review their footage and make contact if they have captured anything of relevance.
“Lastly, I would urge anyone who has come across items matching the description being sold in suspicious circumstances, either online or in person, to please let us know.”
