Teenage boy arrested in connection with threats to kill incident in Hythe

A teenage boy from Hythe has this morning (Friday 5 September) been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and common assault.

The 14-year-old was arrested shortly after 5am and remains in police custody at this time.

The arrest, which involved collaborative work between Waterside NPT and DPT, follows a reported incident outside a property in Hythe shortly after 11pm on Monday 18 August.

During the incident, it’s reported that a boy was shouting, swearing and making threats towards residents at an address.
