Local Patrols / Action Taken

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Officers from Walpole Safer Neighbourhoods Team have been out proactively targeting locations residents have suggested. Yesterday officers stopped numerous drug users in Dean Gardens and one was issued a Community Protection Warning as he was seen involved in Anti-Social Behaviour numerous times.

Officers have also assisted Ealing Council in evicting a male who was camping in Walpole Park, this male has now been given an order not to return, and has now moved on.

Officers and partners will continue to patrol areas that cause residents concern and will be proactive in order to tackle ongoing issues. Please continue to report all concerns to either 101, Crime Stoppers or 999 in an emergency.
