🚨Garage Interference Alert 🚨

We've had a report of a garage interference on Green Drive. Offenders attempted to gain access, causing damage to the garage door but it appears nothing was stolen on this occasion.

These incidents are often carried out by opportunists looking for tools, bikes, or other valuables.

🔐 Crime Prevention & Safety Advice:

. Always lock your garage and check it is secure, even when at home.

. Upgrade garage security - consider extra locks, security bars, or an internal ground anchor for bikes.

. Install lighting and CCTV around garages and outbuildings to act as a deterrent.

. Mark and register valuables (bikes, power tools, equipment) using property marking kits.

. Don't leave garage keys in visible or easy-to-reach places inside your home.

. Report suspicious behaviour (such as people loitering near garages) immediately to police on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
