🚨 Vehicle Interference Alert - Kildare Avenue🚨

There have been two thefts from vehicles reported on Kildare Avenue:

. Goods were stolen from a van

. A purse was stolen stolen from another car

These incidents are a reminder that vehicle crime can happen quickly and often when least expected.

. Always lock your vehicle - even if you're only leaving it for a short time.

. Remove valuables (bags, purses, wallets, tools, electronics) or keep them completely out of sight.

. Park in well-lit areas or on driveways close to your home whenever possible.

. Use additional security such as steering wheel locks, alarms, or immobilisers.

. Check your van security -consider reinforced locks or tool safes if carrying expensive equipment.

. Report suspicious activity (people looking into vehicles, trying door handles, etc) to police on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
