Appeal for witnesses to serious assault – Headington

Good afternoon, 

We're appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Headington.

We were called at 11.34am yesterday morning to reports that a man in his 20s had been stabbed in the front garden of an address on Warren Crescent.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, wearing dark clothing and a face covering.

We will remain in the area today carrying out enquiries - we would like to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far and for the local community’s support.

If you saw what happened or have any information and have not yet spoken to police, we would like to speak to you. We are particularly keen to hear from you if you were in Warren Crescent or its surroundings and saw what happened or a man dressed in black in the area. You may have dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage that captured something that may assist our enquiries.
