Local Priorities Violent crime Message

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Many of you will have seen on the news the tragic murder of Yeray Sanchez-Morales on Old Kent Road ward. He was only 17 years old, due to be 18 at the end of the year. A 15 year old boy has been charged with the offence of murder, but this is a complex investigation whereby a large number of people were on scene. Old Kent Road PC's and PCSO's will be patrolling the ward as always, if you have any concerns or wish to discuss anything please feel free to approach us and speak with us.
