Regarding the arrest of the drug dealer on Carlisle Place on Wednesday morning: the two arresting officers from the Vincent Square Ward team, supported by other constables, worked through the night in order to secure charges from the Crown Prosecution Service for two counts of Possession with Intent to Supply and Possession of an Offensive Weapon, and the suspect was remanded to Magistrates Court today. Your local officers are absolutely committed to disrupting drug supply around Westminster Cathedral; we know that it exploits vulnerable people, drives criminality and the resulting antisocial behaviour that blights the lives of local residents. There have now been two significant drug related arrests on the ward in the past week. We are trying our best to deter and disrupt, and there will be more arrests. |
