Parcel Theft Awareness and Crime Prevention

Dear Resident,

The following Theft of parcel by unknown suspect occurred between 30/08/2025 to 01/09/2025 whereby victims parcel was delivered and left outside address on DOUGLAS ROAD, KINGSTON UPON THAMES, KT1.

Parcels being stolen shortly after delivery, often from unsecured lobbies or hallways, communal areas. These incidents are typically opportunistic, with offenders entering buildings when access is not properly secured.

We urge you to consider the following preventative measures:

Do not allow tailgating: Only allow access to people you know or expect.

Secure entrance doors always. Report any faulty locks to your landlord immediately.

Track your deliveries. Be present or have a trusted neighbour accept parcels on your behalf when possible.

Consider using parcel lockers, click & collect, or alternative secure delivery options.

Report suspicious activity to police via 101 (non-emergency) or 999 (in case of a crime in progress).
