You are receiving this message as you have outlined one of our three main priorities of the month as a key issue. Below is our logs, what we have done in the past month and our ask to support us in tackling this issue.

Breaking this down specifically for our area:

Priority #2 Drug Dealing

From our logs, we had 1 direct report of drug dealing in the past month, but suspicious activity in the area which covers a whole range of issues stood at 20 reports.

To tackle this issue, our stop and searches have increased with a recent success shared on social media where a quantity of class A drugs were seized. Work remains ongoing with local housing associations to tackle those responsible from both a criminal and civil side. This issue is constantly ongoing in the background as we develop our intelligence picture. In relation to this, we ask residents contact via 101 with any information. We have had information to suggest the use of e-bikes in dealing which we area also pursuing through both overt and covert operations.

Our ask, we ask residents to report any suspected drug dealing or strong smells from neighbouring addresses.
