Emergency Alerts System Test - 07/09/25 at 3:00pm

Dear Resident,

On Sunday 7th September at 3pm the UK Government will carry out a national test of the Emergency Alert System. If you have a 4G or 5G phone or tablet devices, it will vibrate, make a loud siren sound, and show a message, even if it's on silent. This is only a test alert. You don't need to do anything

The Emergency Alerts system is used to warn if there’s a danger to life nearby, including extreme weather. Regular testing ensures the system is functioning correctly, should it need to be used in a life-threatening emergency.
