A Cardiff man has been jailed after pleading guilty to multiple shoplifting offences. He has also been made subject to a criminal behaviour order. |

Liam Chadwick, aged 37, of St Mellons, Cardiff, pleaded guilty to eight counts of theft from a shop, totalling £494.25 worth of goods, on August 22, 2025 at Cardiff Magistrates Court. Remaining in any retail store when you have been asked to leave by a member of staff.
Local neighbourhood inspector Meg Butler said: “Chadwick was a prolific shoplifter and I’m pleased to see both the sentence and criminal behavioural order placed on him. Businesses in our community and their staff deserve to feel safe. Criminal Behaviour Orders like this allow us to prevent further offending. Breaching a CBO is a criminal offence allowing us to take further action where required.” | ||
