Police Action - Fairholme Rd

Hello Everyone,

I can proudly announce that the team have successfully dealt with a long-standing problem address on Fairholme Rd. This address was known for alcohol and drug fuelled parties late into the night, and there were further reports to suggest it was operating as a brothel and unregistered hotel.

Officers have worked tirelessly with assistance from the council and the Rahab outreach group, to take action against the property. A Community Protection Warning was delivered last month, followed swiftly by a Community Protection Notice.

All tenants have been removed from the property, and the owner has taken the decision to convert the property from a hotel back to a small number of residential flats.

This outcome could not have been achieved without members of the public patiently working with the police, bringing this issue to our attention.
