Two charged after drugs seized

Two men have been charged after a large amount of drugs were seized in Tamworth. 

Marian Burlacu, 37, from Walsall, and Sandu Constantin, 36, of Birmingham, have both being charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine. 

It comes after officers searched the men and two vehicles in the Glascote area yesterday (Monday 1 September) and seized a large amount of cocaine, around £1,000 in cash and three mobile phones. 

Burlacu and Constantin have both been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Tuesday 2 September).
