๐ How the Process WorksReport โ You can report online 24/7 via the Action Fraud website or by phone on 0300 123 2040 (MonโFri, 8amโ8pm).Receive a Crime Reference Number โ This confirms your report has been logged.Assessment by NFIB โ They analyse the information to identify patterns, link cases, and decide if thereโs enough evidence for a police investigation.Referral โ If viable, your case is sent to the relevant local police force.Outcome โ Youโll be updated within 28 days on whether your case is being investigated, or if intelligence is being used to disrupt criminal activity (e.g., shutting down websites, blocking phone numbers).
