Appeal following non-stop collision

We are appealing for witnesses following a non-stop collision in Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday (31 August).

The incident happened at around 6.30pm at the junction of Orford Way and Stock Avenue in Blurton.

A motorcycle and a car were involved.

The rider of the motorcycle and a passenger, both men, left the scene on foot, heading towards Ripon Road.

Officers attended alongside colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service. No injuries were reported.

A 43-year-old woman, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving. She was later released with no further action.
