Your South team has been out and about, working hard to keep our community safe, supported, and connected. Here’s what we’ve been up to recently ⤵️
☕ Coffee Morning at Antonio’s
We had some great conversations with local residents over a cuppa. Thank you to Antonio’s for hosting us and to everyone who came by to share your thoughts.
🏠 Engagement at Slough Homeless – Our Concern
We spent time engaging with some of the most vulnerable members of our community, offering support and advice in partnership with local services.
🗣️ Have-Your-Say Event at Tesco
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to speak with us about local concerns and priorities. Your voice helps shape how we police your neighbourhood.
🚖 Taxi Licensing Operation
We helped ensure local taxis are operating safely and legally to protect passengers and drivers alike.
🚗 Traffic Operation – High Street
A proactive operation to tackle vehicle anti-social behaviour including illegal and unsafe driving which led to:
☑️ In total, 8 vehicles seized including 4 for no insurance, 2 for no licence and 5 for no tax
☑️ 2 endorsable tickets issued (e.g. points on licence)
☑️ 5 non-endorsable tickets issued
☑️ 1 arrest for theft
☑️ 2 individuals summoned to court for traffic offences
☑️ 1 out-of-court community resolution for cannabis possession
🤝 Joint Outreach Walk
We partnered with Turning Point and The Garden Clinic for a joint outreach initiative, engaging with vulnerable individuals in need of support. This resulted in:
☑️ 5 referrals to Turning Point for drug/alcohol support
☑️ 2 referrals to sexual health services via The Garden Clinic
🔍 Stop Searches
2 stop searches were conducted in relation to drugs, helping us disrupt local criminal activity and keep the area safe.
👮 One Outstanding Person Arrested
We successfully located and arrested one individual wanted for outstanding offences.
