New floor Signs Ulysses Place and Celebration Avenue

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Officers have today been working in conjunction with East Village Security to put down spray painted warnings regarding phone thieves in and around Chobham Academy and Celebration Avenue to catch the attention of those who might be on their phones and remind them to be aware of their surroundings and potential phone thieves. There was lots of positive feedback from passers-by and the signs caught a lot of attention. The Stratford Olympic Park Safer Neighbourhood team hope to get more signs down in other locations in the near future.
