Off-road bikes and e-scooter seized in two days

Officers in Tamworth have seized an off-road bike and an e-scooter in two days following reports of them being driven irresponsibly in the Marrick and Barbara Street area.

This follows us receiving multiple reports, in consecutive days, stating that two such bikes were being ridden inappropriately.

Following intelligence, one off-road bike was found in a nearby playing field.

It has since been seized and is due to be destroyed.

This comes as, on Saturday 23 August, officers also seized an e-scooter being ridden irresponsibly in the Barbara Street area.

The rider will be summoned to court for using the e-scooter without an appropriate licence or insurance.

The e-scooter will also be destroyed in the coming days.
