CCTV & stay alert

Dear Residents

Chorley Police have been made aware of several reports of Suspicious Activity in the early hours of 01/09/2025. Unknown offenders have been seen trying door handles to properties and vehicles on Claytongate and nearby streets in Coppull. 

If you have any CCTV footage of the offenders or have information you think may be able to help us identify the offenders then please call 101 quoting Log number LC-20250901-0100 or alternatively you can email myself on 2782@lancashire.police.uk

Please make sure that you secure your properties, make sure your keys are out of sight and any valuables that you have are not left in your vehicles over night & please stay vigilant, if you see anything suspicious that doesn't look right please ring 101 or 999 if it is an Emergency.
