Good Afternoon,

Over the past weeks we have been having complaints made about cars parking on, and blocking, the back streets across West Craven.

This is a polite notice to remind residents and other vehicle users, that parking on the back streets can be viewed as an unnecessary obstruction. This may lead to a fine being placed on your vehicle and it being removed by Police.

Blocking a back street causes various issues, namely:

Other residents not having full access to their properties

Disabled residents not being able to get in or out of the rear of their properties

Emergency vehicles unable to access the rear of properties

Refuse vehicles struggling to empty bins

The Neighbourhood Policing team will be in West Craven in the near future conducting checks on back streets.
