New Met for London, Phase 2

Dear Partners & Community Members,

We are keen for your feedback on our second phase of our policing plan, A New Met for London (NMfL), launching this year – Found here: New Met for London Phase 2.

It is really important to us that Londoners understand what we have done under NMfL thus far, and what we will do as we move into Phase Two. This second phase is not a new strategy – it is a continuation of what we set out to do in 2023, because we know the best organisations are built and sustained by relentless, step-by-step improvements. 

Our ask is for you to take 5 minutes to provide us with your view via our survey, which you can complete here: New Met for London: Phase 2 Survey. The survey closes on 14th September.

There are two new cross-cutting areas of focus: Putting Crime-fighting First, which will see the Met reduce distractions and bureaucracy that divert officers away from crime-fighting and become more productive; and Working in Partnership, which will see the Met collaborate with others to solve problems and address local crime priorities together.

In Kensington & Chelsea, we recognise the importance of having the views of those that our plan will impact most and would be hugely grateful for your feedback.
