ATTEMPTED THEFT - MOORS GOORS, CANNOCK CHASE |

Good evening,
At approximately 5:00PM today, a male attempted to steal a pushbike near the Moors Gorse Pumping Station on Marquis Drive. Thankfully, the theft was unsuccessful, but we’re urging everyone in the area to remain vigilant. Officers are aware and investigating.

Always lock your bike, even if you're leaving it for just a minute. Use a strong D-lock and secure both the frame and wheels. Park in well-lit, busy areas where there’s CCTV or regular foot traffic. Register your bike with a national database like Bike Register – it helps us return stolen bikes to their owners. Take photos of your bike and note down the serial number. Report suspicious behaviour – if something doesn’t feel right, let us know.
