E Scooters Seized

Good afternoon, 

We would like to inform you that today whilst on patrol, the Blackburn Neighbourhood Policing Team have seized two E Scooters. These seizures have been made as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of all road users and to enforce laws around the use of E Scooters. 

Furthermore, we want to remind residents that privately owned E Scooters CANNOT be used on public roads, pavements, cycle lanes and/or other public spaces. They may only be used on private land with the land owners permission. Using E Scooters illegally can result in fines, penalty points on driving licence and seizure of the vehicle. 

We encourage everyone to familiarise themselves around the rules of E Scooters to keep our communities safe.
