Following a request from Weaverham Parish Council regarding the inoperative speed indicator device on Northwich Road, speed enforcement was carried out this week.  Highest recorded speed: 37 mph.  Next steps: Video evidence is being processed and will be submitted to the Central Ticket Office for further action.

Lovely Start to this morning.  An early communion service at St Mary's Church followed by warm and engaging conversations over refreshments with members of the faith community.

As schools return tomorrow for the new academic year, please drive and park sensibly, especially near schools and residential areas.

I’ll be out and about on patrol to help ensure everyone’s safety. Wishing all children a happy first day, especially those making the big transition from primary to high school — you’ve got this! Plan your journey with plenty of time — roads will be busier than usual, and with the recent  heavy downpours, conditions may be hazardous. After a long dry spell, oil on the roads can cause slippery surfaces, so please take extra care. Stay safe!
