Safety Tips for Children
Stranger Danger
Teach your children about stranger danger. Explain the importance of not talking to strangers and never accepting rides or gifts from someone they don’t know. Establish a safe word that only trusted family members know, which can be used in emergencies.
School Bus Safety
If your child rides the school bus, review bus safety rules with them. They should always wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before approaching and use handrails when getting on and off. Remind them to stay seated and face forward while the bus is moving. Backpack Safety

With the increasing use of technology in schools, cyber safety is more important than ever. Teach your children about the importance of keeping personal information private and the dangers of interacting with strangers online.
