Your Weekly Bablake Update |

Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT
Dear Members Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening
. Burglaries Four reports of burglaries ☹ These have all been shed or garage break in’s on Thurlestone Road, Brackley Close and two on Brownshill Green Road. Nothing was taken from three of them but golf clubs were taken from one shed. If you have any door or window alarms, attach them to your garage or shed. The noise alone, when activated, could be a deterrent.
. Vehicle Crime Four reports of vehicles being broken into in the past week. Tamworth Road – wallet stolen and bank cards used before being blocked. Derwent Road – Laptop and bank cards stolen. Birmingham Road -Number plates stolen. Halford Lane – Van broken into and tools stolen.
Please do not, if possible, leave valuables in vehicles when they are parked up.
You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com
. In other News
Officers out and about stopped a vehicle because of information we had received. Driver stopped and searched and what do we find on him??? DRUGS! Thanks for that info 😊
Another vehicle stopped and person searched, found with drugs on them.
Another vehicle stopped, person searched under Sec23 Misuse of Drugs Act, and lo and behold drugs found on them.
A vehicle failed to stop for officers and sped off but did not see the street furniture and crashed into it (silly person). When the vehicle was searched, officers realised why he didn’t want to be sociable with them. A large quantity of different types of drugs found in the car. Person charged with Possession with Intent Too Supply.
So, this week seems to have been a drug’s special week 😊
