Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour in Warndon

Dear Residents,

As your local Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team, we are commited to tackling anti-social behaviour and working with the community to make our area a safer and more enjoyable place to live.

What is Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)?

ASB can take many forms, and often has a negative impact on the wider community. Examples include:

People-Related ASB:

  • Intimidating or threatening behaviour.
  • Groups causing harassment, alarm or distress.
  • Rowdy or inconsiderate behaviour in public spaces.
  • Substance misuse in public areas.
  • Vehicle-Related ASB:

  • Vehicles being driven carelessly or dangerously.
  • Excessive noise from revving engines or loud exhausts.
  • Off-road bikes or e-scooters being used illegally.
  • Vehicles being used in an intimidating or nuisance manner.
  •

What are we doing about it?

Your SNT regulary patrols the local area, especially our ASB hotspots. We constantly engage with residents and businesses, and work with our partners such as housing, local councils, and schools to address issues at the root. We also target known hotspot areas for ASB and use enforcement powers where necessary.

    How you can help us?

Your information is vital in helping us build a picture of what is happening locally. You can report ASB in the following ways:

  • 999 - If a crime is in progress or there is immediate danger to life or property.
  • 101 - To report non-emergency incidents, including ongoing ASB concerns.
  • Online - Report via the ‘Contact Us’ section of the West Mercia Police website.
  • Crimestoppers - Report anonymously via 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
  •

    Working Together

By reporting incidents and concerns, you enable us to respond more effectively and take the right action. We are here to support the community, listen to your concerns, and continue to work with our partners to reduce ASB across Warndon.

Thank you for your continued support within our community.

    Kind Regards

    PCSO Connor Riley
