CANNABIS GROW FOUND

You may have noticed an increased police presence in your area recently. This is due to the discovery of a cannabis cultivation site nearby.

 

A male has been arrested in connection with the grow and remains in custody while our investigation continues.

 

We’d like to thank the community for their ongoing support and vigilance. Information from local residents often plays a vital role in helping us identify and disrupt illegal activity.

 

If you suspect a property may be used for growing cannabis, here are some signs to look out for:

 

  • Strong, sweet smell coming from the property
  • Windows constantly covered or blacked out
  • High levels of condensation on windows
  • Bright lights on at unusual hours
  • Frequent visitors at odd times or very little activity at all
  • Buzzing sounds from fans or equipment
  • Unusual levels of heat coming from the building

  • Speak directly to your local PCSO or neighbourhood policing team
