Good Afternoon Blackpool,
The fireworks are BACK!!!
Visit Blackpool are proud to announce that the pyrotechnics team from Poland emerged as the champions of 2024's competition, surpassing USA and Finland.
Over the years, the firework events have become one of the resort’s biggest draws with the displays, all synchronised to music, being launched from the beach in front of The Blackpool Tower. It is estimated that each of the events attracts more than 50,000 spectators to the Tower Festival Headland.
The important part: All displays are subject to suitable weather conditions. The event will build-up from 7.30pm with an approximate firing time of 8.30pm for each display. The firework display takes place over the beach in front of the iconic Blackpool Tower. Take your place along Central Promenade between Central Pier and North Pier to watch the spectacle. The Fireworks are absolutely AMAZING if i say so myself and most certainly go off with a BANG!!
