πŸ”’ Crime Prevention Advice – Protect Your Number Plates
Number plate theft is a growing issue, often linked to serious crimes such as vehicle cloning, fuel theft, and avoiding fines. Here are some simple steps to help protect your vehicle:
β€’     πŸ”§ Use tamper-resistant screws: These make it much harder for thieves to remove your plates.
β€’     πŸ’‘ Park in well-lit, busy areas: Thieves are less likely to strike where they can be seen.
β€’     πŸ›‘️ Install CCTV or motion-sensor lights: Especially if you park on a driveway or near your home.
β€’     πŸš— Consider theft-resistant number plates: These are designed to break apart if forcibly removed.
β€’     πŸ‘€ Be vigilant: Report any suspicious activity or vehicles with mismatched or missing plates to the police.
Let’s work together to keep our community safe.
