South Wales Police are working to tackle anti-social behaviour in Station Road. Following reports of street drinkers acting in an anti social manner in the pedestrianised area we have conducted patrols, arrests have been made on some occasions and limitations have been put in place on some parties in regards to their behaviour.

We will continue to work alongside council, local shops and local CCTV to help reduce the ASB issues in the area and monitor any breaches in behaviour of those with conditions in place.

Anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of unacceptable activity that causes harm to an individual, to their community or to their environment. This could be an action by someone else that leaves you feeling alarmed, harassed, or distressed. It also includes fear of crime or concern for public safety, public disorder, or public nuisance.

Examples of anti-social behaviour include:

The police, local authorities, and other community safety partner agencies, such as Fire & Rescue and social housing landlords, all have a responsibility to deal with anti-social behaviour and to help people who are suffering from it.

Mae Heddlu De Cymru yn gweithio i fynd i'r afael ag ymddygiad gwrthgymdeithasol yn Station Road.

Yn dilyn adroddiadau ynghylch drinkerion stryd yn gweithredu mewn ffordd gwrthgymdeithasol yn ardal y cerddwyr  rydym wedi cynhelwyd patroliadau, mae arestiadau wedi'u gwneud ar rai achlysuron ac mae cyfyngiadau wedi'u rhoi ar rai parti yn ymwneud â'u hymddygiad. 

Byddwn yn parhau i gweithio ochr yn ochr â'r cyngor, siopau lleol a'r CCTV lleol i helpu i leihau'r problemau ASB yn yr ardal a monitro unrhyw dorri ymddygiad y rheiny sydd â chymhellion yn eu lle.

Mae ymddygiad gwrthgymdeithasol yn cwmpasu amrywiaeth eang o weithgarwch annerbyniol sy'n achosi niwed i unigolyn, ei gymuned, neu ei amgylchedd. Gallai hyn fod yn weithred gan rywun arall sy'n aflonyddu arnoch neu'n gwneud i chi deimlo'n bryderus neu'n ofidus. Mae hefyd yn cynnwys ofn trosedd neu bryder am ddiogelwch y cyhoedd, anhrefn gyhoeddus, neu niwsans cyhoeddus.
