Vehicle theft Copthall Road West

At approx midnight Saturday 30th August 25 a Black Audi Q5 was stolen from a property on Copthall Road West on the high even number side. 
Which direction the property was approached from is still not clear, however the stolen vehicle Reg LS67OHX (reg published with owner permission) was spotted in Almond Ave  (ivy house lane end) at 03:10 with the same plates. 
The vehicle was later lifted after a period of laying up, a tactic used to see if they were followed or vehicle tracker activated.

There is almost certainly a support vehicle, could all CCTVs etc especially in and around CRW, the Roads between CRW and Almond Avenue ( any potential route) see if they can identify a vehicle  just after midnight up to about 00:30.

Also in Almond Avenue when the vehicle was lifted (no time as yet) This was probably the time the plates would have been changed if they are going too.

Was anyone out and about at that time of the morning, did you see any thing that could be useful.

They may have been active over any part of the ward.

These keyless thefts are largely preventable with the shielding of your keys, please don’t make it easy for them. The fitting of a steering lock is also a very good deterrent.
