Disruption Patrols in Southern Gateway

Southern Gateway officers today carried out uniformed disruption patrols around the Deansgate Square Towers and the New Jackson Towers. This was in response to increased reports from the sites regarding drug use and antisocial behaviour. 

Two crowbars and a screwdriver are now in police possession, and multiple known drug dealing nominals located in the area and subject to stop searches. 

We are committed to keeping the towers places where residents and their families can live free of antisocial behaviour and drug dealing. We will be carrying our regular uniformed and plain clothes patrols.
