Witness Appeal

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information following an assault in #Stevenage.

Police were called to Hydean Way just after 5.30pm on Wednesday 20 August after reports a woman had been assaulted and seriously injured.

Officers attended and found that both a woman and a man, who are known to each other, had suffered significant injuries. Both were taken to hospital where the man remains at this time.

Detective Inspector Georgina Fenge, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please come forward.

“A week on from the incident, I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the Hydean Way area between Saturday 16 and Wednesday 20 August and witnessed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary.
