Local Priorities Vehicle crime Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime , which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We have had reports of vehicle crime in Clitheroe where the offender(s) have been trying car doors.

We ask that everybody ensures that their vehicles are kept secure when not in use and to be mindful of any suspicious activity. I also ask that no valuables such as wallets/purses, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, jewellery, cash etc be left in vehicles over night.

We will be conducting local enquiries and will be conducting regular patrols in order to identify any possible offenders and tackle the issue. Please contact us on 101 if you have been a victim of any similar issues or contact us if you see anything worth checking.

Kind Regards

PC 8925 Huw Woodall
