Dispersal Zone in Place for Waterloo and Southbank

To tackle ongoing anti-social behaviour and nuisance motor vehicles in Belveredere Road, SE1 and surrounding areas, I have authorised a dispersal zone for the area of Waterloo and Southbank. This is in response to continuing reports from the local community about dangerous driving, excessive noise, and general disruption to the community.

The dispersal zone is active from 18:00 today, until Sunday the 31st August at 06:00.

This gives police the power to disperse individuals who are causing or are likely to cause ASB and failing to dispersal or returning once dispersed is an offence.
