Attempted Burglary to Business premises - High Street, Ware

Dear Resident

 

At approximately 02:03 hours on 28th August 2025, offenders attempted a burglary in High Street, Ware.

 

At this time, offenders have attempted to gain entry to the business property by using a crowbar.  Fortunately, entry was not gained and offenders, upon hearing the alarm made off in an unknown direction.

Please be vigilant and do report any suspicious activity or behaviour in the area.

 

Tips to prevent burglary:

  • Check windows and doors are secured before leaving the premises  

  • Ensure burglar alarms are set correctly when premises are closed.

  • Consider using CCTV cameras or a monitored burglar alarm. 

  • Don’t leave valuables in visible places.

  • Keep equipment locked away, that could be used to break into your premises.
