Man charged with drug offences following stop-and-search

A man has been charged with drug offences following a stop-and-search in Stoke-on-Trent.

Mohammed Sikander, aged 37, of no-fixed address, has since been charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. 

It comes after officers on patrol in the Dresden area stopped a man on Belgrave Road on Wednesday (27 August).

Class A drugs, worth in the region of £580, were discovered.

Sikander is due to appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (Friday 29 August).
